Sheena Parveen

Sheena Parvin has been NBC10 News’ longtime meteorologist. Sheena was born in India on May 23, 1987. She did the news together with Charissa Thompson as a weather anchor and forecaster. Sheena is a graduate of Florida State University, her degree is in Science of Meteorology. She launched her career by joining WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida where she began working as a journalist and forecasting the weather. Mostly, she was hosting the weekend weather forecast in the morning and she would also discuss environment-related news. After working in the network for several years, she moved to WTVT, where she hosted the morning show ‘Pet Adoption’. Her career in WTVT did not last that long, as she decided to take up further studies where she continued studying ‘Meteorology’. As a meteorologist, she was considered one of the brightest in the field. She also joined the NBC network in Philadelphia in December 2011.

Megan Glaros

Megan Glaros is a local meteorologist, she covers the weather and also reports for both CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News. She was a cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts before she started her first Television job. She also did professional modeling when she was in High School and College. She was enrolled at Texas Christian University and transferred to Indiana University where she studied atmospheric sciences and journalism. Megan worked for Sinclair Broadcast Group where she did a forecast for five different cities. Following this, she moved to South Florida in September 200 where she became SportsJam Live’s Local 10-morning news meteorologist and host. She was able to cover the extreme hurricanes that swept the last couple of years. We can all remember clearly Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Wilma an,d several more. She moved to WCBS-TV as a weekend morning meteorologist and weekend entertainment reporter. She has done the 4:30, 5, 6, and 11 AM news for the CBS 2 Chicago Morning News since August 2010. As a local meteorologist, she covers the weather and also reports for both CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News.
