Alex Wilson is a recipient of a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Advertising from Syracuse University. Also, at Penn State University, she studied Meteorology. Alex worked at WHNS-TV in South Carolina after graduation. She eventually transferred to West Virginia’s WVNS-TV and WOWK-TV before joining The Weather Channel, where she currently works. She began in March 2013 on The Weather Channel. Her partner is David Shwartz in the afternoon news from 3 PM till 6 PM.

When she was younger, she wanted to become a singer, so she joined a beauty pageant, and this was where she was discovered by the News Televisa crew. Mayte’s dreams may not have materialized as planned, she did not end up a singer, but she gained fame by doing weather reports. In 2009, she also joined Miss Televisa Monterrey; she was awarded the title in 2009. This curvaceous news anchor is gaining a legion of fans, she has showcased her assets in different fashionable and sexy ensembles. To keep herself fit, she has shared with us some of her workout routines on her Instagram account, where she has a growing following as well.
