As we mentioned earlier, pregnant dogs don’t want to give birth in an environment which seems unsafe. Storie obviously knew that the shelter wasn’t the best place to give birth, but how did she know that Chris Mariesa would come along? Her natural instinct told her that it was the right place to have her puppies, and boy, was she right.
