Fortunately, Danny was able to go to the vet the following day. He had to get up early because he had the first appointment of the day. Even though he was up early, he was almost late because of the kitten who refused to be caught.

In the meantime, when the cat ran away from him, Danny realized he should name her. He resolved to refer to her as Missy from now on. Missy looked to be far too curious for her own good, as Danny was continually losing track of her. She was little enough to go wherever she pleased and did so heartily.
