Malachi was informed by the woman that she was unable to provide anything for free because she equally needed the cash. Malachi’s eyes began to well up with tears as he sincerely hoped he would be able to find something to eat here. He agreed and abruptly stopped crying, but as he walked away, he did something he afterwards regretted.
