Who would have believed that Britney Spears, the Princess of Pop, could also rock and shine on the basketball court? Her singing career began in high school, but she also became interested in basketball around this time. During her time at Parklane Academy, she was the point guard for the squad. Her star, however, was born to shine brightest as a vocalist. Spears is regarded as a pop icon for rejuvenating the adolescent pop genre in the 1990s and selling more than 150 million records worldwide. Rolling Stone named her classic “…Baby One More Time” the greatest debut single of all time.
Geena Davis – Archery
Geena Davis has made a name for herself as a one-of-a-kind performer, winning multiple prizes both on and off the screen. Her most successful works are “The Fly,” “Beetlejuice,” and “Grey’s Anatomy” Over her career, she has played a variety of characters, including doctor, baseball catcher, and pirate. Her most notable sporting accomplishment came in real life, when she was ranked the 13th best archer in the United States. She was one of 300 women who advanced to the Summer Olympics semifinals in Sydney in 1999. Despite not qualifying, she participated in the Sydney International Golden Arrow tournament.
