It isn’t a scenario from Jaws; it’s a real photograph. You’d think a sign like this would scare people away from the water, but as you can see, even the threat of a shark attack didn’t deter many beachgoers. We should resist the urge to get our feet wet if it was our only chance to get in the pool during our break. Is the risk of being bitten by a shark, however, really worth it? It is hoped that no one was injured while swimming.
